The Peanut and the Pearl by Edna Bale $15.99 This is a Hippie Book set in Marin County in the late 70’s where fact and fiction curiously collide bringing up questions of reality: anarchy, revolution, patriotism and democracy, and suggest a even earlier betrayal and much subterfuge. Also included is Aberdeen Academy, a Proposal for an Art School of a Serious Nature but which as much else turns out to be another exercise in futility though still very interesting.
